What's different about these jerseys?
They keep you super cool on hot days, they dry in a flash, and most importantly, they provide sun protection for your skin.
I am an avid cyclist. As such, I spend a lot of hours out in the sun when I'm riding, and my arms were really starting to get disproportionately cooked by the sun. Because the forearms are almost at a perpendicular angle to the sun's rays when you are riding, the damaging effects there are more intense than on, say, your face and lower legs.
I had one jersey from Performance (gasp!) that was made out of a lightweight, bright orange fabric. The fit was terrible -- a big, billowing box of a shirt, but I loved it because I didn't have to slather up on sunblock for my lunchtime rides :)
As I became more and more obsessed with bike riding, I needed more jerseys (because the orange one was always dirty). I was never able to find a supplier of super lightweight women's cycling jerseys with long sleeves, so I just started making my own. Another pet peeve of mine was the FIT of the available jerseys for women -- it was just too boxy. Too tight in the bust and too loose in the waist (I know you know what I'm talking about here, ladies!). I wanted a flattering cut that would also give me better aerodynamics. In short, I decided that I wanted it to fit women.
I am very happy with results, and I think you will be, too! These jerseys are very lightweight and cool. I wouldn't dream of wearing any other kind on hot days. They are very easy to care for and they dry in a flash.
I am also offering shorts. Not just any shorts, now, but super, high-quality cycling shorts at an affordable price (unheard of, I know). The pad is a top-of-the-line, professional cyclist caliber endurance pad designed especially for women. I personally tested many models of pads to choose the right one. The elastic on both the waist and the hemlines has a silicon gripper strip along the centerline to keep them in place. Both the pad and the elastic are imported from Italy and are of the best quality available in the world.
